About MissionSAFE
MissionSAFE is a Boston based non-profit organization that serves at-risk youth. Our mission is to work with Boston's highly at-risk youth and their families to gain the skills and confidence to thrive, not just survive, and to improve their community and their world. Since 1998, MissionSAFE has helped over 1000 young people to complete high school, develop leadership skills, retain meaningful employment, gain a love of the arts, appreciate the outdoors, and much more!
About the race
The MissionSAFE Gobble-Gobble Gallop 5K Road Race/Walk is set along the historic Chestnut Hill Reservoir and provides a beautiful venue for walkers and runners of all abilities. All proceeds from the race will help us provide critical services to the youth we serve.
The "Little Gobbler Fun Run"
This year's race will once again feature the "Little Gobbler" Fun Run for all youth 10 and under. All participants will get a prize!
Prizes
Prizes will be given to men and women in each of the following age categories: 30 and under, 31-40, 41-50, 51 and older.
Public transportation
The Gobble Gobble Gallop is accessible by MBTA by taking the Green line:
B train - take to the "Chestnut Hill Ave" stop and walk downhill to Cleveland Circle
C train - take to "Cleveland Circle" stop
D train - take to the "Reservoir" stop and walk downhill to Cleveland Circle
Parking
Street parking is available around the reservoir and in the Cleveland Circle area. Please check this site prior to the race for information about additional parking.

MISSIONSAFE Gobble-Gobble Gallop 5K WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY (READ BEFORE SIGNING) In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in THE MISSIONSAFE Gobble-Gobble Gallop 5K on Saturday, November 18, 2017 9:00 am related events and activities, the undersigned acknowledges, appreciates, and agrees that: 1. The risk of injury from the activities involved in this program is significant, including the potential for permanent paralysis and death, and while particular rules, equipment, and personal discipline may reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and 2. I KNOWINGLY AND FREELY ASSUME ALL SUCH RISKS, both known and unknown, EVEN IF ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES or others, and assume full responsibility for my participation; and 3. I willingly agree to comply with the stated and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual significant hazard during my presence or participation, I will remove myself from participation and bring such to the attention of the nearest official immediately; and 4. I, for myself and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, HEREBY RELEASE AND HOLD HARMLESS THE MISSIONSAFE Gobble-Gobble Gallup 5K, and its officers, directors, officials, agents, employees, volunteers, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners, and lessors of premises used to conduct the event (collectively the “RELEASEES”), WITH RESPECT TO ANY AND ALL INJURY, DISABILITY, DEATH, or loss or damage to person or property, WHETHER ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE; and 5. I understand that at this event or related activities, I may be photographed. I agree to allow my photo, video, or film likeness to be used for any legitimate purpose by MissionSAFE and any such images shall be the exclusive property of MissionSAFE without additional consideration. I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK AGREEMENT, FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS TERMS, UNDERSTAND THAT I HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS BY SIGNING IT, AND SIGN IT FREELY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT. PARENT / GUARDIAN WAIVER FOR MINORS (Under 18 years old) The undersigned parent and natural guardian does hereby represent that he/she is, in fact, acting in such capacity, has consented to his/her child or ward’s participation in the activity or event, and has agreed individually and on behalf of the child or ward, to the terms of the accident waiver and release of liability set forth above. The undersigned parent or guardian further agrees to save and hold harmless and indemnify each and all of the Releasees referred to above from all liability, loss, cost, claim, or damage whatsoever which may be imposed upon said parties because of any defect in or lack of such capacity to so act and release said parties on behalf of the minor and the parents or legal guardian.
